About the Blog
The Bizmarketer blog started as therapy during a particularly frustrating bit of my career, when I was cranking out truly appalling marketing content and campaigns despite my best efforts not to. Turns out I was not alone and so it continues.
About Me
I help companies have conversations with people — customers, prospects, employees, investors, influencers and innocent bystanders. I’m passionate about great content, sensible campaigns, good corporate behaviour and trying stuff to see if it works.
I work with corporations, charities, start-ups and regular people to help them communicate, grow and prosper. It’s really not that hard to do, and I’m always pleased to teach other people how.
Currently, I am the brand and communications director for ADP Canada, and, of course, everything I say here is my own opinion and has absolutely nothing to do with them and I didn’t have a lengthy conversation with the legal department about blogging. I have also worked with Rogers Communications, Bank of Montreal, Aon, 3Com, The Beer Store, MGI Software and Marketrend Interactive, as both employee and consultant.
I volunteer with the Canadian Marketing Association and I’m working on building a New Animal Shelter in my town near Toronto. I sometimes talk at conferences and contribute to other blogs and publications.
