Sites, blogs and podcasts I like and that have been known to help:
Iterative Path – Rags Srinivasan writes nicely on pricing, strategy and marketing. He has interesting guest bloggers too.
The Big Fat Marketing Blog – Has links to practically anything you need help with
Content Marketing Institute – Great advice and resources for content marketers
Freakonomics — A great way to waste time and still have something to show for it. The audio podcast is awesome.
Marketing Over Coffee Podcast – Smart, useful and mercifully brief. Wish they would chat and smirk a little less but it beats listening to the traffic report.
MarketingProfs — Not B2B but one of the best resources out there for research, templates, case studies and ideas you can claim as your own. The premium membership is more than worth it.
Small Business Trends – I’m not a small business but I get more out of this blog than most others combined. Great book reviews and useful info.
Things that aren’t necessarily for marketers but might help us get through the day
Dilbert Daily Strip – This is what I take with me when I crawl under my desk to cry
Fist Full of Talent – Finally, down-to-earth HR stuff. Free of political correctness and inclusive twaddle. Love this blog!
Get It Done Guy Podcast – AKA Stever Robbins, he’s quirky and inconsistent but there is often something to learn.
Harvard Business Review Ideacast – You feel smarter just knowing it’s on your iPod. The moderator sounds like she is about eleven and interviewing someone for her Career Day project, but the content and quality of the thought on this thing make it worthwhile.
Time Management Ninja – Stuff that works from a guy who respects your inbox.
